ALVA SCOUNDRELZ COLORWAY II LIMITED EDITION REISSUE
ONLY 150 MADE
The Juice Magazine Surf Skate Culture Collection: A Benefit for Babette featured an amazing set by Tony Alva and G.F.P., and it was getting wild in the VIP lounge upstairs with DJ Ray Flores, Tonan, Peck and Rosie on the mic. “Punk as fuck!” Thanks again to everyone who contributed, volunteered and attended. We’ve still got art available from the show at http://www.juicemagazine.com/BABETTEBENEFIT.html. Art exhibit closes Oct. 31, 2011. For those who wish to give to Babette and Jeff Ho, please click here.
We wanted to thank everyone that came out to the Juice Magazine Surf Skate Culture Collection 3: A Benefit for Babette! The photos and video are in progress and we’ll be posting all the coverage soon, but in the meantime, we wanted to put out an update on the current items up for auction to help Babette. We had some amazing artists contribute pieces to the auction. Here are the first four items ready to be bid on.
Tony Alva’s new band, General Fuckin Principal (G.F.P.), played TA’s birthday show at the Shakedown Bar in San Diego, CA a few weeks ago and then we met up with them at their rehearsal space in Silverlake for an interview. For more from GFP, head over to their Facebook page. Big thanks to TA, Tom, Aime and Nick for letting us catch the session.

S-One x Daggers Helmet
The Daggers. Easily one of the most talented, influential and notorious crews in skateboarding. Bob Burnquist, Rune Glifberg, Jesse Martinez, Tony Alva, Dave Duncan, Christian Hosoi, Sergie Ventura, Pat Ngoho, Steve Olson, John Cardiel and Eddie Reategui… just to name a few. Dave Duncan and Eddie Reategui stopped by the S-One warehouse a few months ago. They liked our helmets and they knew S-One was well known for quality, fit and protection so they wanted to work together to make a Daggers Helmet. We were honored to do so. The Daggers helmet is super lightweight and is constructed with EPS foam so it protects your head against the heaviest slams.
Ask for the Daggers helmet at your local skate shop. It’ll go perfect with those Daggers x Bones Wheels!
the new Bones x Daggers Collab Wheels. Assess all the specs and you’ll probably agree that these wheels look like they can do some serious work in a skatepark.
The Dagger crew includes thrashers like Steve Olson, Jay Adams, Tony Alva, Dave Duncan, Eddie Reategui, Bill Danforth, Eric Dressen, Jesse Martinez, Aaron “Fingers” Murray, and Christian Hosoi as well as many other skate masters. You can pick up the wheels online or check for them in a local store soon. Be on the look out for the next Dagger party at the Exhibit A Gallery in Los Angeles. It’s still true; Daggers RULE!
